Christa Baldwin

About Me

I am a Licensed Therapist in the state of Florida. I graduated with Honors from the University of Central Florida in 2013. I have experience working with a variety of populations and within different settings ranging from outpatient offices, drug offender programs, correctional facilities and inpatient substance abuse rehabilitation facilities. I am experienced with the various emotional problems that occur in adults. I have specialized training with addictions, mood disorders, anger management, crisis intervention, self-esteem, life transitions, depression, anxiety and panic attacks.
My therapeutic approach focuses on empowering you to utilize your strengths to make positive changes. In treatment I prefer to draw upon Cognitive-Behavioral and Strengths-Based approaches which allows me to structure my approach in treatment in various ways to meet you where you currently are. I feel that when choosing a mental health professional it is important to find the proper match in order to develop a positive and successful therapeutic relationship that provides trust, honesty and openness. Taking the first step in starting therapy can be exciting as well as intimidating. I am here to welcome you and assist in guiding you to the healthy person you would like to become!
