Hello Beautiful People! My name is Christasia Coleman and I have enjoyed the work of helping people through the challenges that life brings, for 10+ years. I graduated from college with a Bachelor of Science [degree] in Psychology, in 2000 and began pursuing a Master's [degree] in Rehabilitation Counseling, shortly thereafter, which I accomplished in 2003. As a Licensed Professional Counselor , I have worked in a number of settings including outpatient agencies, adult day treatment facilities, school based therapy programs and the like. I now own my own practice in Sherwood, AR called The Legacy for Children and Families, LLC where I have found helping individuals to better understand how the interaction of their thoughts & feelings motivate their responses/actions can be beneficial to fostering better self awareness and increased self modification [of thoughts-feelings-behaviors]. I am experienced in working with individuals who have experienced the symptoms of depression, anxiety, some interpersonal challenges in relationships, trauma & grief/loss/bereavement, to name a few. Additionally, helping individual's to understand their own sense of purpose is important to their healing process. I encourage you be open to what you are looking for in treatment. Though choosing a counselor is not always an easy process, finding the right person can be rewarding. I hope to hear from you!

Chris has been an amazing resource on my journey to resolve my past and re-write many negative statements I've carried. She's personable and to the point, which is a breath of fresh air. If you're on the fence on giving counseling a shot, I'd say with Chris you're in good hands.

So I was paired up with a different counselor originally who I just did not vibe with. Luckily, Betterhelp was able to fix me up with a new one v v quickly. I’ve attended in person therapy many times over the years and not gotten near as much out of it as my sessions with Miss Chris. She always offers space for me and shares her expertise on the most intimate details of my life. She makes me feel safe, listened to, and inspired. I look forward to my sessions every week. Because of her I’ve adopted the motto, find a counselor you can laugh with. Christasia has seriously changed my life, offering new perspectives in and allowing me a change to grow. I am so so thankful for her. She is such a blessing.

Christasia has been a great help to my depression so far. I appreciate her guidance through God’s scripture. It is helping me learn more about how much God loves and cares about us. She has helped equip me with references for when I need them at my low times.
