Hello and Welcome! I am glad you are here. I understand that coming to the decision to start therapy can be a challenging one and can come with lots of emotion. It also comes from a desire to have a happier, healthier life. Since graduating from Simmons College School of Social Work in 2006, I have worked in various healthcare settings as a social worker. In my work in community health, hospice, VNA/home care as well as in care delivery within a health plan, I have always been drawn to alternative and holistic ways to heal the mind, body and spirit for myself and my clients. With a particular interest in mindfulness, meditation and stress reduction techniques, I have a passion for working with people to find their happiest, healthiest and most authentic self. I truly pride myself in being open-minded, authentic and approachable. I feel truly honored to be doing this work and feel great responsibility in being entrusted to provide a safe, open place for people to heal, grow and to work towards being their most contented selves. I am a certified professional organizer as well as trained in Reiki Level II, Yoga Nidra and am trained in Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT). I look forward to speaking with you!

I have been talking to Christel Charlesworth for a few weeks now, and she has been a lifesaver. She is so open-minded and non-judge mental that she is very easy to talk to, and she offers concrete but easy ways to make small improvements every day while working on the bigger picture. I have seen a few different therapists over the years (for depression and anxiety) and Christel is one of the few who just give you a good feeling right off the bat and asks the right questions. Thank you for trying to help me ☺️
Christel is a great counselor. She has been extremely helpful. She is open to anything and has a wide variety of tools and resources to help. She is easy to open up to and talk to. I would definitely recommend her.
