Whether you are feeling depressed, struggling with anxiety, or seem to choose dead-end relationships, I’m here to provide a safe space where we can work together on resolving your concerns.
I approach talk therapy with optimistic enthusiasm. I love working with clients who are facing transitions in their lives. It allows me to witness them overcome challenges and come out stronger on the other side. I’m a curious person by nature, so it’s a joy getting to know those I work with.
My strengths as a therapist include a non-judgmental attitude, strong empathy and insight, and experience with a wide variety of clients with all types of issues and challenges. My therapy approach is based primarily on cognitive behavioral principles. Of note, I have a professional interest in mixed (neurotypical/neurodivergent) relationships.
On the personal front, I have traveled extensively which has given me a broad perspective on how culture shapes our experiences and values. As a single parent, I know the pleasure and challenges of raising a (successful) child on my own.
In terms of education, I studied clinical social work at the University of South Florida and became licensed (LCSW) in 2004. I have worked in mental health for over 20 years, 7 of those in direct service with clients, in a variety of settings.
I look forward to meeting and working with you.

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Christina Carraway. We don’t pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.
Christie listens and is asks questions that help me think about the issues.
Christina is a very empathetic and great therapist. She made sure that I was heard, helped, and most importantly, helped me help myself so that I can feel confident in my journey. She also made a mental and physical note about my issues and checked in with me often which I appreciate greatly because I didn't feel alone and lost.
Christina is a great help to me! She offers me a lot of insight into my issues and will give me exercises and other resources to help me. She’s like chatting with a friend, very easy to talk to.
I have only had 2 sessions at this point, but things are going great. Whenever I send messages or share journal entries, she gives thoughtful feedback. This is my 4th attempt at therapy and thus far my most successful. She's not just telling me what to do, she's engaging with me as I navigate the process.
Very attentive supportive and understanding. She doesn’t judge and she is very professional. She also takes initiative in many ways. Great experience thus far.
So happy I found Christina !
Christina is amazing. I feel like she not only hears me but sees me. I feel like she is the right person I needed to help me through my issues and trauma and I’m excited to keep working with her.
