Welcome to my profile page! It is exciting you are looking into finding support for whatever obstacles life is throwing your way to deter you from your own personal success and happiness. My experience is vast as I not only have the education, credentials and licensure to help people but I also have diverse LIFE experiences. This unique attribute allows me to view multiple perspectives and provide support and encouragement with a non-judgmental approach. I am collaborative and a great listener who will ensure we are working together to achieve YOUR therapy goal(s). You will be provided with evidence-based knowledge and skills to help you implement the changes you want to make in your life.
I earned my Masters of Science in Social Work and my Master of Science in Couples and Family Therapy from the Raymond A. Kent School of Social Work at the University of Louisville. It is important for you to know the Raymond A. Kent School of Social Work at the University of Louisville Couple's and Therapy program was 1 of only 2 credentialed programs in the United States at the time of my graduation. I reside just across the Ohio River in Southern Indiana and am licensed there to provide mental health counseling.
During my 4 1/2 years of clinical experience, I have worked with children who experienced anxiety, anger issues, social isolation, abuse and neglect and some who were on juvenile probation. I also have worked with clients who identified as LGBTQ, couples, blended families and parents who needed help to understand and support their children in more productive ways. Communication problems are an issue many people struggle with. This is an area of expertise for me as I have found this basic foundational piece of solid relationships to often be the missing ingredient in secure relationships. My personal commitment for responding to your communication is guaranteed to be within 24 hours on weekdays. M-F I check emails and messages at least once every morning and at least once every afternoon. Any messages or emails sent on the weekend will be responded to on Monday morning.
We only know what we know; I hope you choose me to help you learn new skills for improving your quality of life!

She has helped me with a lot. When I come to her with worries, she validates my worries and then we work on how to lessen those worries for the future. I've been more receptive to my own feelings and taking the time to understand them. I definitely gain something with each session.
Christina has been so helpful for me :) she listens really well and always gives me good solutions. She has been really helpful even outside of life problems, even helping me understand what is necessary to get my own apartment :) I think of her as my second mom :)
I am feeling really great about my experience with my counselor. I just started therapy recently and have found my counselor to be a good listener, kind, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic about our sessions. I am way more relaxed about seeking help and am optimistic about my future sessions.
Christina is fantastic, very easy to talk too, understanding, available, helpful and a positive person to have in my life. I always look forward to my sessions.
Christina is open-minded, compassionate, and knows how to help. I came to her with an incredibly complex net of issues that she was able to help me work through, by letting me lead the way. I feel empowered by our sessions, and the tools she has given me. Thank you Christina!
I have nothing but great things to say about Christina. As someone who was hesitant about starting my therapeutic journey and not being comfortable asking for help, Christina quickly became my safe space. I often felt as though I was speaking to a close friend because of how attentive and caring she is. I was able to heal from things in my life that I thought I would carry with me forever. I don't know how else to thank Christina for the time and effort she put in to making sure I was alright and supplying me with all the tools I need to continue this self healing journey. I am so appreciative that BetterHelp brought us together, I will miss talking to her every week.
Christina and I are still meeting, but I have to say, after two sessions, I could not be more impressed. She is incredibly patient (I can be verbose), asks great, thoughtful questions, gives excellent feedback, and on a very basic level, is just enjoyable to be around.
Christina is a good listener, no doubt she knows what she is doing or talking about. She has great understanding to you as a person and has a variaty of solutions for you to try. Best councelor.
I am very happy that Christina is my therapist, she understands my needs to a T. She listens to me and knows what I need. I would recommend her to everyone I know that needs help too.
