About me
I completed my graduate degree in 2008 at Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI. My fellowship consisted of working in Forensic Psychology with a sexual offender and sexual deviance/dysfunction population. After graduation. I went on to continue my work with this population for 13 years, and have an extensive background in men's issues, sexuality and intimacy issues and sexual addiction issues including pornography addiction. I have also worked extensively with couples, family issues, those struggling with trauma, troubled youth and those struggling with depression, anxiety, change of life, addictions, gender and sexual orientation issues, spectrum disorders and many other treatment issues. I have always put the client at the center of the treatment and adapt the approach to the needs and preferences of my client. Empathy and care-based therapy are always paramount as I believe in creating a judgement-free supportive environment for my clients to feel comfortable talking about the most difficult things for a person to discuss. I have and will employ a multi-discipline approach to therapy as is needed by each particular client and we will discuss the treatment goals together from the outset.

Reviews
These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Christina Holcomb. We don’t pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.
Christina is absolutely amazing! She's down to earth, fun, and super easy to talk to. She's so relatable and just seems to get to the root of problems with relative ease. Easy to trust, easy to open up to, and so nice to boot! I can't say enough about her, she's been truly helpful through my whole experience!
She’s awesome man. I think one of the best to do it. She’s very laid back and relaxed. I had so much fear going into therapy but she reassured me in that it was just a conversation and indeed it was. Plus she doesn’t interrupt me while I’m talking and interjects at appropriate times.
She’s my first therapist so I can’t guarantee she’s one of the GOATs of therapists lol but definitely one of the GOATs of just being an awesome and kind and supportive human being.
P.S. if there are any frustrations regarding the video/call quality that’s on BetterHelp

Christina is down to earth and really understands what I am going through. She is easy to talk to and listens before offering a response. I highly recommend her as a therapist.
We really connect, she’s extremely intelligent, has great advice. I hope others have the same experience with BetterHelp
It's rare to find a therapist as supportive and helpful as Christina
Christina is great! I was so glad I was able to jump into therapy right away in the first session and make progress already on an issue that I’ve worked on with 2 other therapists and got nowhere.
Christina really listens and offers productive solutions
Christina was great and helpful. I felt like she listened and had practical skills for me to implement right away.
She is very helpful and understanding. She's patient and helps me see things that I wouldn't otherwise recognize
My first therapy session and she threw a curve ball straight at me! She opened my eyes and hit me with a realization that I never noticed before! Such a wonderful, kind, and hilarious person!
Christina is great! She was really responsive and provided great feedback
Tina is very friendly and easy to talk to. She offers great feedback and is incredibly helpful.
Wonderful therapist. She really helps you to develop your own coping mechanism äs according to your needs
Christina has a way to let both voices be heard. She helped my relationship with my husband a lot.
She just… gets it.
Super helpful in looking at things from different angles and how to actually change my ways of thinking
She listens to me and helps me with my issues.
She is excellent and we were a great match. I'm sad she's leaving for a new opportunity, but I'm very excited for her as I am also an equestrian and I fully recognize how much good she'll be able to do in Equine Assisted Therapy!
Christina has been a wonderful therapist and has helped me work through many personal issues.
They say humour is the best medicine and this woman is the funniest person on planet earth! We have long conversations that appear to be about random subjects and she can pull how I am feeling as if out of thin air! A wonderful woman to share my feelings with and someone I feel I can trust and has my best interests at heart!
Very understanding, shows many different ways to go about things to help with behavior change. Overall I very much enjoy my chats with her.
Christina has helped me in ways I didn't know.
My first session with Christina was a good first step to my self healing. She listened and was able to articulate what I was feeling. Very happy we met and I excited to continue working with her.
Christina is very understanding and kind . She makes me feel comfortable and is very encouraging . Extremely attentive .
Christina is wonderful, she is so personable and really helps to put me at ease
I think my time with her has been helpful
Thank you.
I was very apprehensive about speaking openly about my personal life, especially online. On our first call, Christina was very welcoming which helped me put my mind at ease and allowed me to comfortably open up and address my concerns. Christina is able to keep the conversations cheerful and optimistic, even if the topic itself may be rather depressing. I’ve really appreciated the help.
