Hello! I am a licensed mental health counselor with 3 years experience working in community mental health. I have worked with adults who struggle with trauma, depression, anxiety, life transitions and relationship concerns. I have experience with military and veterans, and I have also worked with offenders who are having a hard time reintegrating back into the community.
My approach is very eclectic; I like to tailor to each individual client based on what your needs are at the time. I also understand that needs change over time, and I always make sure that I am adapting and adjusting my intervention to meet you where you are in your process. I believe in being transparent and non judgmental. I like to stress the fact that your journey is unique to you, and that everyone progresses through therapy at their own pace. Modalities that I typically use are cognitive behavioral, rational emotive behavioral, dialectical behavioral, existential, psychodynamic and client centered. I also utilize animal assisted interventions in my private practice, and can be of assistance if you are considering obtaining an emotional support, therapy or service animal.
I understand that reaching out for help in your most vulnerable time can feel scary and uncomfortable, so I am happy that you decided to take this first step towards recovery. I am looking forward to working with you!

Christina has been asking appropriate questions to help me uncover and understand all of the different layers to my story. I’ve had 2 video sessions with her so far and they’ve already been so useful and productive. She’s a really good listener. She is able to stay organized and keep track of a lot of information to get the big picture. She has also zoomed into key points to help me dig deeper into learning more about myself.
