About me

Hi there!

One of the greatest things you can do for yourself is to seek support. Whatever support you are looking for (therapy, seeing a doctor, joining support groups in the community or a community kickball league), albeit challenging at times, can be a gift you give to yourself that continues to grow the more you provide to it. Even reading this profile, you are beginning your journey in recovering a life that you were meant to live, one without overthinking, doubt, criticism, feeling unmotivated, depressed, nervous, or scared. We have short-term and long-term goals in this life and in order to meet them, we all face different challenges. It is important to note just how much of a unique individual that you are, someone who is rich with life experiences to help them, even if you do not believe so now, this is something we will work on together. Believing something is important and your confidence in achieving your goals is where you begin. Addressing challenges that impact those goals and confidence (persistent anxiety, depression, history of trauma, family/relationship conflict, addiction, and mental health diagnosis) is where I begin. Together, we meet these challenges head on and help build the life you were meant to live.

I use a variety of techniques to help clients achieve success and I am first and foremost a client centered therapist. I utilize several different therapies in order to see what promotes the best learning and growth for you. I use multiple modalities to engage any audio, visual, and hands-on learners whether that is with cognitive behavioral therapy, inner child, or even art therapy (you’d be surprised what you learn about yourself with one art directive!).

I received my Master's in Counselor Education and certificate in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Central Florida (one of America’s top 10 Master’s programs in counseling) in 2013. I am a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) in the state of Florida and I am also trained in EMDR, ART, and EFT, specializing in trauma, addiction (both chemical and process), self-harm, anxiety, panic disorder, agoraphobia, and depression. I am also a qualified supervisor (QS) for mental health and marriage and family interns seeking licensure in the state of Florida and I am a National Certified Counselor (NCC). I am passionate about using inner child therapy, art therapy, cognitive behavior therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, trauma therapy, and experiential therapeutic techniques to promote self-growth, healing, and action-oriented problem solving in individual and group therapy settings. I am currently working as a part time therapist (previous full time and clinical director) in a dual diagnosis residential treatment center for adults suffering from addiction and eating disorders in Orlando, Florida.

I am originally from south Florida and moved to Orlando 13 years ago to pursue my bachelors and Master’s and took on the long-term goal of “growing where you’re planted” and have built my career and now my own family in Central Florida.

Christine is great and she listens and helps me organize my thoughts. She has a kind demeanor and although I was scared to talk to a stranger about what I'm going through, I trust her and her expertise.

10,000/10 recommend. Don’t take my word for it, find out for yourself. She won’t disappoint.

Christine is the best therapist I've worked with. Hands down. I've made break-throughs in these sessions I didn't even realize were possible. If you have a chance to work with her, you owe it to yourself to to take it. Easy to talk to, friendly, and just plain good at her job.

Christine is so helpful! She's a great listener and makes me feel like I can say anything to her, even when it's vulnerable for me. She responds to my messages in a timely manner which helps me stay on track during the week! I would highly recommend Christine and BetterHelp!

Christine has been great. Even though we spent two weeks just in text before actually talking in VC, she was able to diagnose WHY I was having certain responses I had had for years. And when I got to talk to her in voice? Wow, it just accelerated. She is caring, insightful, and intuitive. Definitely recommend her.
