About me

It is amazing how life can take us in so many different directions? Some roads may be exciting and new, but there are also times when we come across a challenge that may be difficult to handle on our own; we feel unable to deal with it. Counseling can assist in the process of managing one's feelings, challenges and struggles. You do not need to manage this on your own, talking with someone can help with giving you direction, help you understand why you are feeling this way and how to make things better for yourself and /or others around you.
I have over 7 years experience with all types of issues including grief and loss, adolescent challenges, LGBTQ+, anxiety, depression, and chronic/terminal illness, I utilize techniques that assist each unique individual with the process of addressing any personal challenges and achieving change.
You may be feeling hurt, defeated, or lost... counseling can help you understand that you are not alone. Whether healing from your past, coping with situations & issues in the present, or letting go of fears of the future; I am here to listen, help & understand you as an individual, with care & without judgment.

Chrissie is extremely professional and does a great job at retaining all of the information I provide about myself which is a lot! She always knows what to say and provides a safe space for me, I could not ask for a better therapist.

Chrissie is exactly the person I’m looking for. She listens to me and gives me room to ramble, but then responds with honest thoughtful feedback that helps me see my experiences differently and with better understanding. What I loved most about her was when we started, she didn’t come into our first session as a “therapist.” She came as a person that wanted to be my therapist but was aware that she might not be the right fit. She genuinely wants the best for you, even if it’s not her. However, it probably is her :) Lovely person. Highly recommend. (For those who are looking for specific categories of therapists: I’m dealing with current/past family traumas and mental health issues that I am medicated for)

Chrissie (MA, LPC, NCC) helped in my understanding of the situations that I was going through in my marriage and to see things from other perspectives. Her guidance was crucial in helping me to make sure that I was making appropriate progress. I felt that her knowledge and understanding of the situations I was working through was what gave me the reassurance that I was making safe and confident choices that are healthy and beneficial for my marriage. I am very thankful.

So great! It was a little daunting to take this first step towards better mental health, but Chrissie makes the process welcoming and enjoyable.
