You are only limited by your unknown blocks creating barriers to achieving your hearts' desires. However, transforming obstacles creates possibilities beyond what you once thought possible. Honestly, this process of self-discovery is a miraculous unfolding that never ceases to amaze me. I am passionate about mind and body integration. Natural healing occurs with a combination of mind, heart, body, and brain. This warmhearted combination results in meaning-making, discovering purpose, and achieving goals.
My therapy has forever transformed my life, and I began healing. A relationship in which I invited another human being (a therapist) to accompany me into my world. To provide me with an objective voice of reason, education, or a sounding board while experiencing unconditional acceptance. My life continues to be shaped by assisting others in their therapeutic process.
I had to learn to sit with discomfort. It took a little bit at a time. I started to overcome my past and was shocked to realize it was possible to feel genuinely happy. Not that every moment is bliss. I understand that everything in life is a balance, but I cannot tell you how much I had lost hope or, more accurately, never had hope for a "good" life. Of course, I still have endless opportunities to continue growing, but now I seek this growth because I enjoy the intrinsic benefits of such change and find it gives me a sense of purpose in life.
Having realized what might be accomplished if a person has the proper support and motivation, I want to help others as they work to develop the life they want and achieve the goals they set.
My personal and professional experiences over the past 15 years in the field have led me to offer particular support in the following areas: hard decisions, PTSD, relationship difficulties, autism spectrum, anxiety, depression, trauma history, addiction, and adult ADD/ADHD. I use multiple approaches depending on your needs, personality, and preferences. I stay current on research related to various areas of treatment.
The most important thing is that you are ready to begin to set some goals/explore what you would like support with and are prepared to be actively involved in this process.
