About me

I am a New York State licensed psychologist with over 25 years of experience. I have worked with individuals with a variety of concerns and diagnoses. I have particular interest and experience working with individuals who have experienced: dysregulated moods such as depression and anxiety; personality problems and relationship difficulties; family of origin issues including adoption, childhood trauma, abuse and neglect; and individuals with mild traumatic brain injury. I also enjoy working with those experiencing life transitions including young adults tackling new careers while navigating relationships with intimate partners and altered relationships with their parents; middle-aged individuals moving into later career and/or becoming empty nesters; older individuals negotiating relationships with adult children; and individuals moving into their golden years and possibly facing end of life concerns.
My style is to be open and accepting, to listen and learn from the client in order to gain a level of understanding of her or his perspectives and experiences. Areas of concern are identified by the individual and these are addressed in a collaborative manner to work toward an improved level of satisfaction with living, both daily living and achieving longer term goals and/or a level of acceptance.
I very much look forward to meeting and working with you.

Dr Rackley is absolutely wonderful. Listens to me and helps me realize things about myself I wouldn’t have thought of if she hadn’t mentioned it or helped me work through it. She’s also a great confidence builder. I always feel better about myself after our sessions.

I have had my fair share of therapists over the years. It's kind of like dating, you really have to dig until you find one that works. Dr. Rackley has proven to be nothing short of a perfect match for me. She actively listens, digs deeper to understand, and intentionally works to develop a meaningful relationship with me. I don't have to remind her of my struggles or relationships every session because she remembers everything. She is an amazing counselor that will support you *and* challenge you.
