My passion in life is to sincerely help others heal and grow with kindness, understanding, respect, compassion and empathy. I want others to become the best possible versions of themselves and to live meaningful lives. I believe that meeting individuals where they are is imperative to their recovery. I have been involved in Community Mental Health since 2008. I received my first License to practice Social Work in Kentucky/West Virginia, in 2015. I have been practicing Social Work in Louisiana since 2018. I have worked with a variety of populations, but I am specialized and well versed in working with Trauma and Substance Abuse (dual diagnosis). Although there are many different treatment approaches, I prefer to use Person Centered Therapy, Strength-Based Therapy as well as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I focus on making sure that each patient is treated with dignity and I acknowledge their value as an individual. I believe we were all designed for great things! There is Always Hope!
I started working in community mental health in 2008 and in 2019, I was named the Intensive Outpatient Hospital Program Director in Louisiana. I currently hold four Social Work/Community Mental Health Awards in both KY and LA.
My strengths as a Licensed Therapist include being Empathetic, Sympathetic, Observant, Creative, Logical, Animated, Patient and Non-Judgmental.
*I also have a background in Theological Seminary in regards to Social Work. Please feel free to reach out and ask questions about this part of my education.*

Christine's knowledge on personality disorders is outstanding. She has helped me to understand what I have been struggling to understand for far too long. She is realistic yet optimistic. She explores the options present for dealing with my difficult relationship without any hint of steering me in one direction over the other. I feel like she is handing me tools for working with what I have so I can make decisions based on my values and what is best for me and my family.

Christine Talley is quick to get to the point and to really hear me out. Even helpful when navigating the Betterhelp website. She is helpful in sending me notes to help me review before our next meeting and is willing to look over my messages when I send them. I look forward to seeing how this will impact my life in a positive way as we move forward, and remember, to breath.

I was very hesitant to try online therapy after so many years of in person sessions. I know how hard it is to find the right fit and share/work through the most difficult moments in my life with someone. Due to my schedule, in person therapy as no longer an option. I was paired with Christine and have been working with her for about a year now. She has the knowledge to help me and the personality to connect with me even over a computer screen. I have been very pleased with her efforts to assist me in my healing journey!

Christine is fantastic. It’s always a little awkward starting with a new therapist but after the first 3 sessions, we hit a groove and now I feel a great connection to her. She is SO respectful which I really value in a therapist. I ALWAYS come out of our sessions feeling better, even if we covered tough topics.
