About Me

Hello, thank you for your interest in my BetterHelp profile. I hope to support you with moving through your current challenges to the success and fulfillment you are seeking in life. The willingness to be open and intimate with another on this journey is both giving and receiving a gift. I can be with you as a psychotherapist, an advocate and most promisingly as a friend. My approach is love, kindness and compassion. I am so grateful to help people to navigate their life circumstances, stress and traumas and to experience the healing and transformation that is possible. It is possible for wisdom and empowerment to arise from the depths of your process. And all that you gain through the process is yours for life and will build the bridge to your future.

I offer a safe, caring and respectful environment to explore your inner landscape. Psychotherapy is an opportunity to become more aware of thoughts, emotions and sensations, to discover an inner sense of authority and personal truth. Your process, your experiences lead the way. Straight forward, simple and clear, therapeutic techniques give you new ways of perceiving, experiencing and making choices that are in alignments with your true nature, health and wholeness. Often you are able to identify the root of issues and shift conditioned, self limiting, even painful patterns. You may also come to greater awareness and acceptance of the current issues. As you apply new skills for working with your circumstances you gain a true sense of inner strength. and the confidence to move forward. New opportunities show up for you and relationships blossom because you have made the self commitment to heal, to grow, to meet life's challenges and to love and forgive yourself and others. You become more empowered to speak your truth and make choices that are right for you. My wish for you is that you experience a renewed sense of hope, inspiration and the self empowerment to pursue your dreams and goals. You may even fall in love again, with yourself, with others, with life.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I have over 20 years personal and professional experience and ongoing studies in the fields of Psychology, Healing and Wellness. I competed a Master of Psychology degree at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas in the School of Biomedical Sciences in 1992. My clinical areas of expertise include: client-centered process, EEG neurofeedback, body-centered therapies, neuro-integrative therapies with adult and childhood trauma work and neuro-cognitive rehabilitation, cognitive behavioral and behavioral approaches. While at University I worked inpatient and residential mental health settings with teens, adults and elderly populations. My love for the Rocky Mountains lead me to take up residence in Colorado where I pursued work studies with Charles Bebeau, Ph.D, Founding Director, School of Transpersonal Psychology and achieved a certificate of graduate level training in Jungian and Archetypal Psychotherapy. Humanistic, Existential and Transpersonal theory provided a rich foundation to offer the therapeutic support to follow, amplify and guide clients' deep transformational experiences. The personal and professional benefits of this work work naturally unfolded interests and exploration of Body-Energy Healing, Reiki, Qigong and Tai Chi. I trained internationally with Master Ming Tong Gu of China and Gaspar Garcia of Spain. I completed several more years of comprehensive studies in contemplative and healing practices at the Center Place with Damaris Jarboux. My work and path of self actualization intensified with the additional disciplines and studies offered by Lawrence Conlan, Ph.D. of Passionate Ease Personal Growth Training. My work during those years also involved independent contracting with Psychologists and Neuropsychologists on the front range and establishing a private practice where I saw patients with Traumatic Brain Injury, Psychological Trauma, Depression, Anxiety, Grief & Loss and mixed diagnoses.

Please schedule a session. I would be honored to work with you on your journey of lasting transformation.
