About me

I am licensed in Pennsylvania with 8 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with lgbt-related issues. I believe in finding the strengths we all have within ourselves, even when we have a difficult time seeing them. I strive to tailor my work with clients to their individual needs and want to make sure you feel you are being heard and understood throughout our work together. Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I am here to support you in that process.

I am also working toward my PhD in clincial psychology currently and my availability is subject to change, but I should have weekday and weekend availability. There are also weeks I will have limited or no availability based on my education requirements. Please let me know if you have any questions about my availability.

He's been fantastic through three sessions. He's checking on me, providing me with resources and is helping me become a better version of myself.

I am extremely fortunate to have been matched with Chris with my first therapy experience. I have a range of topics I wish to discuss ranging from LGBTQ identity to Asian familial background and I was afraid that it may all be too much, but he handles them all wonderfully and helps me break those down into smaller bits for me to understand. He has knowledge in a variety of different subjects, and just the fact that there is someone out there who has an answer brought so much relief to me. He’d also admit it very truthfully when he isn’t sure to something, and that strengthens my trust in him.

He responds to my concerns via both text and call, and it makes me feel relieved to know that he’s always there for me. Another common experience in therapy must be the anxiety you’d feel, especially during your first time—Chris eased that in a very professional way, acknowledging the accomplishments I haven’t recognised myself and providing encouragements. He is very friendly to talk to and our conversations during the session are genuinely enjoyable as well. A therapist and their client don’t always match well together, but based on my experience alone I’d say you’re in great hands if you are with Chris.
