Christy Ainsworth, LCSW
About me
I am Christy Ainsworth, an LCSW with over 9 years of clinical practice. I specialize in working with people who have experienced trauma. I graduated with my Bachelors and Masters in Social Work from the University of Southern Mississippi. I am passionate about helping people heal. At the heart of my practice is the client. I believe the client is the authority on their life. I am here as a sounding board and guide and ultimately to be a small part of your journey. I utilize Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy and other modalities based on my clients' needs. I utilize continuing education to improve my skills for my clients.
When I am not working, I am usually hanging out with my husband and my blue tick hound. I enjoy reading and baking. I am a firm believer in self care and strive to do that not only for myself but my clients as well.
