Nice to meet you! My name is Christy Booze and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in New Jersey. As a social worker, I have been provided the amazing opportunity to provide counseling services to all different populations. I have worked with clients of all ages, races, and socioeconomic backgrounds. I started my career in a residential facility for adolescents with behavioral issues, and eventually branched out to day programs and intensive in-home therapy. Some of the challenges that my clients have faced in the past include depression, anxiety, familial conflict, parenting difficulties, grief and loss, trauma, and substance use. I have also worked with people who seek to simply gain knowledge of coping skills and ways to experience life to the best of their abilities. My goal is to involve each of my clients in the goal setting and treatment process, by exploring what it is that they hope to gain from therapy. I also utilize a combination of approaches when working with clients, depending on their presenting need. I have been trained in Cognitive behavioral trauma-focused therapy, oppositional defiance disorder, and dialectical behavioral therapy. My wish is that my clients can improve their day-to-day lives and ability to cope with everyday stressors, as well as big changes or loss.

I also have experience in Addictions, Relationship issues, Family conflicts, Anger management, Bipolar disorder
