About me
I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and currently work full-time for the Department of Corrections in the State of Ohio. I have 6-years of experience working for my Client's and often their families. When working with the populations (ages vary 17-75) that have chosen me, I find using compassion and empathy work well, however I believe in not only setting, but also enabling the Client to set healthy boundaries in their lives. I have worked within the Community with Client's who struggled with addiction; in addition to helping their families manage the effects of addiction. I have both personal and professional knowledge of grief and how loss can change one's entire existence. I work with individuals who are learning to adjust to a new normal and how to adjust to new surroundings everyday. I am confronted daily with behavioral issues in addition to depression, anger, anxiety and self-harm and often find they are looking for someone who will listen, without judgement.
I look forward to working with you and hope to assist in believing there is hope for a happier, healthier, and whole you!
