About me
Hello, I am Cierra Jackson a Licensed Mental Health Professional Clinical Counselor and Certified Addictions Independent Chemical Dependence Counselor in OHIO. I received my Masters's Degree from Lindsey Wilson College Columbia, Kentucky in the Mental Health Counseling Program. I have been a Therapist for 8 years with 9 years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families from diverse populations who have been impacted by depression, anxiety, family conflict, job loss, post-partum, lack of coping skills, divorce, relational issues, and general daily life stressors. I work from an eclectic theoretical framework, encompassing Person Center Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialect Behavioral Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. I utilize a variety of techniques, including Cognitive Restructuring, Teaching & Role Play, Distress Tolerance Skills, Interpersonal Skills, Mindfulness, Emotional Regulation.
