About me

I once read a book by Terri-Cole Whitaker called, "What You Think of me is None of my Business". and it wasn't until reading this book that I was freed from a life of trauma, depression, and post-traumatic stress-disorder. Since reading the book it has been my goal, to work with individuals to provide them with tools to live a life free from mental health issues, that may be holding them back from living THEIR happy life. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and have over 30 years of experience counseling adults, children, and adolescents in an educational setting. My expertise includes working with clients that may be suffering from depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, relationship issues, ADHD, pandemic issues, and everyday life problems. I respect each individual for who they are, and believe in providing my clients with the opportunity to instill happiness and stability into their lives.

Cindy is a wonderful therapist. She helped me grow and work through all my concerns and issues. I’d recommend her to friends and family! I graduated from therapy doing so much better than when I started and it’s thanks to the help of Cindy. Thank you!

Cindy has been dear to me in our time together! She's very easy to talk to, challenges me, and is able to pin point the details in the chaos of my rambles. I will miss her!

Cindy has been my most favorite therapist in my life. I've had both good and bad experiences in the past. I found Cindy to have all the attributes a good therapist needs plus her own special touch. Her personality is warm and she is very perceptive. She is a great communicator and works diligently to identify goals. I loved how she was able to be professional yet personable and with such grace. She has a natural ability to be personable while still keeping focus on you. I guess I'd translate that to good repoire building. I loved that she was able to pull out themes in my struggles and and give me ideas for how to work through them. I'd highly recommend Ci dy.
