About me

Welcome! I bet you never thought you'd find yourself seeking a counselor, right? Trust me. That is true of all of us., but everyone needs a little help now and then. It takes great courage for an individual to reach out when life throws them unexpected curve balls. I've been there and it can literally take your breathe away. I am so proud of you for reaching out. You are not alone! Now breathe, together we can get through anything.

My name is Cindy. I am an LPC with a national license issued by the state of Mississippi. I have an undergraduate degree in Education from Baylor University in Texas and a Masters from Mississippi State University. I have 28+ years of counseling experience. I have worked in the private section, mental health, hospitals and finally a Children's Shelter. My clients have ranged from children to older adults with a wide range of concerns including anger management, depression, anxiety, family conflicts, c grief and loss, parenting issues, online bullying, trauma and abuse, and crisis intervention. I absolutely love meeting people where they are and helping them create a healthier tomorrow.

I believe in the power of relationships and connection. I believe the therapeutic relationship is sacred and deserves to be treated gently and with respect. I believe in the power of coming together to share resources, skills, and challenges to create a better life for you. , I am supportive, compassionate, and am present with individuals both in times of struggle, as well as, times of achievement and progress. I make sure to meet each individual where they are at and actively listen to and respect where they would like to see themselves in the future with the help of therapy.

Congratulations in taking your first step toward a healthier you and a better tomorrow. I am honored to walk with you through your journey!

Joyfully Serving,
Cindy
