About me

When we begin therapy together, the first thing I would want you to know is that I am a licensed clinical marriage and family therapist with fifteen years of experience which I would use to help you work toward healing and reaching your goals with compassion and a soothing presence. I will let you do the talking, learning your story, struggles, concerns and goals in order to develop a treatment plan that will help you use the strengths you already possess to make the change you are looking for. I believe that anyone can make change happen given the right tools and sometimes a new perspective. There is no reason to remain stuck. Action reduces anxiety and if you are feeling anxious, we can determine the best course of action for you to start living with less anxiety, regardless of your situation. I am a proponent of anxiety reducing techniques that can help you see your situation more clearly and reduce the stress you are feeling. We can think outside the box. Better yet, we can change the box!

Cindy is wonderful. I have a difficult time getting comfortable with people and expressing feelings. She is patient and kind. She has done more to help me in a few sessions than I believed possible. Her experience and knowledge definitely show.

Cindy is excellent! She listens intently then brings her knowledge and insight to the table to help you see the big picture. She's patient as I wander around a topic - but then also helps me focus when needed. I HIGHLY recommend her.
