About Me

When we begin therapy together, the first thing I would want you to know is that I am a licensed clinical marriage and family therapist with fifteen years of experience which I would use to help you work toward healing and reaching your goals with compassion and a soothing presence. I will let you do the talking, learning your story, struggles, concerns and goals in order to develop a treatment plan that will help you use the strengths you already possess to make the change you are looking for. I believe that anyone can make change happen given the right tools and sometimes a new perspective. There is no reason to remain stuck. Action reduces anxiety and if you are feeling anxious, we can determine the best course of action for you to start living with less anxiety, regardless of your situation. I am a proponent of anxiety reducing techniques that can help you see your situation more clearly and reduce the stress you are feeling. We can think outside the box. Better yet, we can change the box!

Cindy is an approachable and down to earth therapist sharing practical, applicable examples from more than 20 years of experience to her sessions. I have really appreciated her flexibility in using whatever communication methods work for me, while still ensuring we have some clear focused goals of what I want from counseling. She is supportive and understanding. I highly recommend her for anyone looking to improve or feel better about themselves and their lives.
