I am a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) licensed in Indiana with over 5 years of experience working as an individual and group psychotherapist. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, career challenges, and brain injury. I also helped many people who have experienced physical trauma or emotional and/or substance abuse.
My counseling style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating anyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral and dialectical-behavioral counseling, along with mindfulness and motivational interviewing. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.

Claire has been such a gift! I was nervous to try therapy for the first time, but from our first appointment, Claire has been so warm and helpful. I feel comfortable sharing with her, and I feel very supported. She does a wonderful job of approaching things in a way that fits with you personally.
Claire is very understanding of the issues I face and has great advice on how to change my outlook. I like the worksheets she sent but sometimes I find it difficult to do. I guess thats the point though. Make me think of how I respond to situations. For me this seems a slow process because I lapse back into sadness and gloom to easily. However I know I'm making progress by the way I feel overall. Now most days are good days. Thank you Claire.
