Clare O'Toole, LMFT
About me
I earned my Master’s Degree in Professional Counseling and have continued to expand my training in areas such as attachment theory, trauma-informed care, harm reduction, mindfulness practices, and emotionally focused therapy (EFT). My work is grounded in the belief that healing happens through connection—both with others and with ourselves.
When working with adults, my approach is collaborative, nonjudgmental, and deeply attuned to each person’s unique story. I incorporate evidence-based practices like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS), while always staying flexible and client-centered.
Whether you’re feeling stuck in old patterns, overwhelmed by stress, or just unsure about what’s next, I offer a space where you can slow down, reflect, and find new ways forward. My goal is to help you feel more grounded, more connected, and more empowered in your life.
If you're looking for a therapist who shows up with warmth, presence, and genuine care, I’d be honored to support you.
