My name is Claudia Veronica Arjona, but I go by Veronica. I was born and raised in South America, where I started my path as a therapist over 15 years ago. There, I specialized in family therapy for clients with psychiatric needs. Shortly after, I decided to come to the States to complete my training. After finishing a Masters in Expressive Arts therapy, I have worked with individuals, families, children, and youth. I have mainly worked with POC, people with past experiences of immigration, addiction, trauma, and/or the culturally diverse. I am able to provide therapy in both Spanish and English.
My ultimate goal as a therapist is to support and accompany you in your self-discovery process. My approach is person-centered, independently of your concerns. That means I’ll follow your lead and tend to your needs in a way that makes sense to you.
I have training in traditional psychoanalytic approaches, evidence-based cognitive and dialectical behavioral treatments, family and humanistic approaches. I also use art and creative interventions to support development of skills that maintain healthy self-care. I draw tools from all of these disciplines to adapt my sessions to the personal needs of each individual. My aim is to help you in processing emotions and develop skills that can support you to create personal relationships that are fulfilling and meaningful. I wish to open the space for an environment that promotes growth, inspires creative and proactive living.

Vero is an amazing counselor! She has helped me progress SO much. Whether guiding me through my interpersonal relationships or my relationship with myself, she is always supportive of me approaching challenges with courage and a level head. I wouldn't be where I am today without her guidance and support. A real asset in my life!
From our first appointment, Claudia was very intuitive and able to understand and address my issues on a very deep level. Her ability to listen attentively and provide useful feedback far exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend her services.
Claudia is amazing. She’s supportive, reliable, kind, and understanding while also being firm at the same time. I feel more grounded and calm after our sessions.
I feel like Claudia truly wants to help and is very genuine in her feedback. She offers different points of view while still being respectful of my concerns. The help she’s given me is huge impact on my outlook and coping abilities. I have tools that I will use the rest of my life thanks to her.
Claudia and I are new with each other but so far I love her. She really listens. Even when I’m spiraling out in 1 million different directions she brings it back full circle with positive influence and understanding. She also provides techniques to help think deeper into our issues or traumas. I highly recommend her she has been an angel so far. Her ethnic background has been really Nice for me because it makes me feel connected and tapped into a higher culture of global emotional frequencies. Highly recommend this woman! She’s amazing
Claudia is a great at asking the right questions, is an attentive listener and talks through coping techniques with you so you feel onboard about the “next steps” practice. I highly recommend her!
Claudia listens to me and is very understanding when we reach a subject that is difficult for me to speak about. She doesn't push the issue if she sees I am not willing to speak about it. Overall I'm happy with her as my counselor and have already recommended a friend to this website based on my experiences so far with Claudia.
