About me

As an African American male, I empower individuals of all genders to overcome personal obstacles and establish stability in one’s life. I emphasize a collaborative effort with clients and work towards establishing a strong support system. I received my Master’s degree at Barry University and I am currently licensed in the state of Florida as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and a Master’s level Certified Addiction Professional. I have over 5 years of experience working with adults in hospitals, clinics, and agencies. I understand that not every individual is the same and so I utilize evidenced based techniques of Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Person-Centered Therapy tailored to each individual. My areas of specialty include anxiety, depression, issues among LGBTQ+ culture, social skills training, as well as issues of minorities and every day adjustments in life.
