About me

Colette is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has worked in many different settings and aspects of Social Work for the past 18 years. She has worked in child welfare, a youth residential treatment program, an at risk youth alternative education program, in a hospital ER and ICU, public high schools and a private practice doing therapy and teaching parenting and social skills classes. While Colette was working in child welfare she received an award for 'Outstanding Work with Children and Families'. She is currently working in an inpatient psychiatric hospital in a leadership position.

Feeling stuck? Colette specializes in CBT, Motivational Interviewing and Mindfulness to help people find their motivation and get out of their own way to become the best version of themselves. Colette is certified as a Mental Health First Aid Trainer and is working on her Trauma and EMDR certifications.

Colette strongly believes in mindfulness and encourages self care. 'If we're not taking care of ourselves, how can we expect to be energized and able to take on whatever comes our way?' She uses her self care time to travel to new places, dance, craft/scrapbook, shop for good deals and spend time with her family and dogs.
