About me

I received my degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University Los Angeles in 2014, the only master's program with a specialization in LGBTQ mental health. Since then I have worked with individuals, couples, and groups; utilizing a client-centered and affirmative approach that also recognizes multicultural issues and intersectionality.

As a young therapist, I trained at Being Alive, a community clinic in West Hollywood that provided mental health services to HIV+ men. After finishing graduate school, I moved to San Francisco, where I spent two years working as an MFT Associate at the SF Therapy Collective in the Castro neighborhood, which provides low-fee therapy services to the LGBTQ community, including providing support for transitional aged youth (13-21) in their coming out and/or transition process.

In 2016 I had the honor of being brought on to work under by Dossie Easton, licensed MFT, life-long queer advocate, and co-author of the book "The Ethical Slut." She oversaw my caseload until I became fully licensed in August of 2019. I am now fully dedicated to my private practice, with an office located in downtown San Francisco and this newly expanded online practice.

My specialties counseling for LGBTQ+ individuals, managing depression/anxiety, trauma/grief support, and exploring sexuality/gender expression.

Psychotherapy can help to address any number of issues, and I believe my LGBTQ+ affirmative background and training provides a valuable lens through which to examine problems and create lasting change. Transformation is always possible for those who wish to invest in their mental health. All that is required on your part is openness, introspection, and a desire to change. Most importantly - you are safe here.
