Constance Moore

(LCSW, MSW, BSW)

About Me

My name is Constance Moore, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker  in the State of Florida. I earned my masters of social work degree specializing in General Studies from Florida State University in 1987. I've worked in many different settings with individuals, geriatrics, and families who have a variety of personal issues such as depression, anxiety, emotional abuse, eating disorder, and mental health disorders of all kinds, schizophrenia, bipolar, borderline personality disorders, and adolescents who were involved in all types of high risk behaviors. Over the past 29 years as a  clinician, my experience has taught me that when one shows genuine concern towards the individual and understands what the individual concerns are then the next steps should be to help alleviate the stress so that one can live their lives to their fullest capabilities. In my many years of practicing I have received a great deal of gratitude from knowing and participating in the counseling process that has made some differences in their own lives. I believe when the patient has established trust in the therapist only then are they willing to discuss their deepest feelings and get to the root of their problems or concerns.

I have dedicated most  of my life to the field of mental health mostly with young adult and geriatrics populations.I specialized in psychiatric mental health disorders, depression, anxiety, codependency, domestic violence, trauma, and anger management.  My treatment approach is rather laid back, but is set on the foundation of patient- therapists therapeutic relationship to include using theory's such as cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused, narrative therapy and reality therapy. It has been an honor and privilege to assist people through some of their  most devastating and saddest moments of their lives. I enjoy seeing people overcome big obstacles that appear unattainable. However, with some time and a great deal of patience they will be amazed of their own goals and dreams they have accomplished for themselves.

Connie Moore is an actual angel. She helped me through one of the absolute hardest times of life, when I was feeling absolutely shattered she quite literally put me back together. I will never forget her compassion, and how empowered she made me feel. I can’t thank her enough.

She was a very great counselor. I enjoyed having her as my therapist.

Connie has been an absolute God send during the craziest time in my life. Patient, insightful, kind, and so warm to listen to everything. I've worked through some of the most significant hurdles of my life, and had never done therapy before. Family issues, work pressure, even moving to a different state! So open and helpful. Can't recommend her enough

Constance is an understanding caring counselor. She is a great source support throughout all our interactions. An incredible counselor she is, who has the ability to accommodate personal needs and backgrounds. As an example, I am someone who lives on a different continent with a different culture. She is still able to employ her long years of experience to accommodate such differences and personal needs (and time zones!). I never stayed on with a counselor as much as I am with Constance. I would recommend her to anyone who is serious about turning their lives around.

Connie has been a great friend and supporting figure throughout my therapy time with her. She is very understanding of my schedule and anything that may come up, as well as of any topics that are on my mind and I want to talk through. She has adapted her style for a better match with mine wherever I have expressed my preference and she is very attuned to outside topics that I want to bring into our session. She also seems to genuinely care and has been reliable for our sessions.

Connie is amazing. She is so caring and straightforward and she has helped me identify my goals and work through traumatic grief. I have had a couple other therapists over the years and none have helped me as much, made me laugh as much, or made me feel as seen and comfortable as Connie!

Absolutely wonderful person! Has helped me through this and has told me how to live life again. She’s so amazing with relaying her life to yours so you don’t feel so lonely with what you’re going through. Would recommend her highly.

Constance is the best counselor I've been in contact with in the last seven years of trying to work through issues that were holding me back from my best life. It was actually hard to say goodbye during our last session and she continued to check on me for several weeks after our last session to make sure I was still doing good.

Thanks Connie! God bless!

Although we have just begun scratching the surface of my long-standing issues, Constance has been a fantastic listener and demonstrated true care and consideration in her approach of helping me find a new happier life path.

I am deeply honoured and sincerely blessed to have connected with my wonderful counsellor Constance Moore who has masterfully provided me with a safe and encouraging environment where I feel I can be open, honest and vulnerable, facilitating my profound self-realization and self-actualization.

Constance is truly an angel sent from above. She helped get me through a lonely COVID summer and was always there for me. The days would have been a lot darker had it not been for her.
Connie is always there to lift you up when you're feeling down and deliver a pep-talk like no other. Her voice is so soothing and she will always deliver straight forward and sound advice. It was my first experience with therapy and I went into it very skeptical. I am so grateful that Constance came into my life. She is one of the most loving people I have ever met and I will never forget her. Thank you for everything, Connie. Take care of yourself. You are so amazing. Thank you for being there. Always.

Dr Constance Moore brings me confidence and support, something I was not used to have from people. Gives me good guidelines on the work that most fit my present situation. Advices on readings and meditations, she led to a different level, state of mind. I am following her guidance and I trust her, which is so important to me. My deep feeling of being abandoned is being abandoned, and I am so happy for that.

This is my first time receiving counseling, decided to try this app and Constance Moore was the therapist suggested. Been with her for about a month now and personally, I couldn’t have asked for a better counselor. She’s been very professional, she has been available for me, has helped a lot, I’ve been feeling better and all thought I’m going through so much, it has been a lot easier with her help. Most definitely would recommend her services.

I really appreciated the professional opinion and advice of Constance; she clearly identified the problem in just less than half an hour and helped me to move forward in the right direction. However, because it is not labelled as Christian based on this platform, I am having to make the hard decision to switch to Faithful as my beliefs are very strong in Christianity and need the Bible base, prayer, and faith base. Otherwise, Moore provided a great clinical approach that was welcoming and she is easy to talk to and seemingly down to earth. My needs were assessed promptly and without hesitation. A very educated and professional approach I can carry forward. Much appreciated.

Constance is a very lovely kindhearted woman with an open mind and great understanding of human behaviour. She understands how to get you to the root of your problem and how to safely guide you to a safe mindset and steps to move forward in life.

I came to better help looking for a way forward. not the same old "and how does that make you feel" kinda thing. Constance gave me the courage to scream it out and push through the tough moments and to see the small accomplishments as not small but important. I cant thank constance enough for how she helped me to get my head around things and that I havent failed. That I just needed to pick a different direction. thank you!!!
