About me

Are you losing Hope? I plan on being your biggest cheerleader and coach. I know life has a way of beating us down and making everything seem hopeless and we seem lost. My passion is helping others become successful at being the best person he/she can be. I consider myself a lifelong learner of psychology and human behavior. This interest has propelled me into the wonderful field of behavioral therapy, which allows for multiple tools and skills for the betterment of others. I believe this is good for me and great for my clients.
I have extensive experience in dealing with grief and loss, relationships, anxiety, depression, Bipolar Disorder, Borderline Personality Disorder, Attention Deficit Disorder and other diagnoses that impair regular daily functioning. I use evidence-based therapies including cognitive behavioral therapy, person centered therapy, and creative problem solving for a whole person integrated approach to wellness.
Most of my clients tell me that I build rapport through my focus on being honest, respectful and tactful. I believe in my clients and believe in working together to solve the problems before us. Every day we have brings a new opportunity to make things better than the day before. Let me help you to find your light and together let’s turn this around and win.

Reviews

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Corey Strickland. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.

Mr. Strickland’s approach thus far has been more so of a guided-discovery type approach. His questions are specific and forces one to evaluate their situation/feelings/emotions on more than a surfaced level. In my opinion, this approach is an effective and sustainable one as it equips the individual with tools to understand themselves on a much deeper level.
