About me
Something in your life has led to you seeking support and the time is now. This is the right place and I am proud of your decision to work on becoming a better you.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who has 30 years of experience in the helping profession. I began my education at Florida State University where I acquired a B.S. and M.S. in Child Development and Family Relationships. I received my Ed.D. from Argosy University in Counseling Psychology.
I believe therapy is a two-way interaction between the client and therapist. It requires commitment, diligence, application, and assurance. I specialize in trauma informed care with a focus on addressing the specific treatment needs of the diverse clients I serve. In addition, I have worked with clients with a plethora of concerns including depression, ADHD, ODD, depression, parenting issues, couple conflicts, and anger issues.
I pride myself on being a non-judgmental therapist with a unique style. It is my goal to enable my clients to learn new ways of coping with challenges using respect and compassion. I believe that individuals have within them the capacity to transform during adverse situations and have an optimum life.
I look forward to working with you!
