No one wants to be in emotional pain, to feel anxious, or to be sad. Still, at some point in our lives, most of us do experience pain. At times like this, itâ€™s important to have someone calm, supportive, and skillful to help us sort things out.
I received my Master's of Social Work (MSW) from Rutgers University in 2011. I am licensed in New Jersey and Washington, DC. I have been working in the human services field since 2002, with post graduate experience in community mental health and hospital settings providing individual, family sessions, assessments, referrals, crisis intervention, and linkages to community resources.
My background involves working with adolescents, adults and older adult population. Common issues I have addressed include depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, adjustment issues, grief, relationship issues, ADHD, self-esteem issues, an interpersonal conflicts.
My style of therapy is collaborative, supportive, and compassionate. Together, we will develop purposeful goals that produce positive results. Today is the day to start really enjoying life.
