Welcome to the first step to the rest of your life. Life changes rapidly and sometimes it is hard to gain footing in this ever changing world. You have made the best decision seeking therapy and I am here to guide you to. I am a Licensed Clinical Social worker and a Certified Health Coach with over 5 years of experience. I have worked with a wide range of issues from HIV/AIDS , to substance abuse, and the geriatric population. I have worked in substance abuse facilitating groups , individual counseling, family counseling sessions, and couples counseling. I have worked extensively with individuals suffering from depression, anxiety, and trauma. I often utilize Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Trauma Focused Interventions.
My therapeutic style is warm, inviting, and empathetic. I utilize the person centered theory to assist my client in changing how the think of themselves. I will be your personal diary while guiding you to your ideal life. My role as a therapist is not to direct you on what to do but to assist you in creating the life you want. You are the author writing your life however you want and i am the pen.
