Courtney Keith, LCSW
About me
I commend you on taking this important first action toward making the changes you desire in your life. My name is, Courtney Keith and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of North Carolina. I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Work at The University of Akron and I received my Master's of Science degree from Case Western Reserve University. My goal of care is to create a safe and welcoming space for my clients along with compassion and trust into the therapeutic relationship, to help promote healing.
I am especially passionate about empowering children, teens, and young adults to help them overcome life’s challenges and pursue their dreams. My expertise has been utilized within various levels of mental health treatment including home-based, outpatient care, and schools. I utilize a combination of cognitive-behavioral, person-centered, strengths-based, and play therapies aimed at helping clients make the changes they’d like to see, including living a healthier more satisfying and self-directed life.
You can expect genuineness, compassion, acceptance, and respect as well as, that firm gentle nudge (and a little humor) from myself as you focus on exploring greater self-insight, clarity, and strategies for you to find the correct balance in your life again.
I look forward to working with you!
