I am 28 years old and have been going to therapy since I was 22 years old. I've had extremely moving, professional, powerful, caring therapists that I saw as mentors, confidants, and friends. Courtney however, sticks out to me and is one I will never forget. Courtney and I had a bond and a connection that made me feel like she was a second mother, a big sis, a best girlfriend, a teacher all in one. She is so special. Courtney's therapy style was so different than any other I've experienced. At first, I was unsure why this hilarious fun woman kept telling me stories about when she was my age and not discussing specific strategies with me like my other therapists had...and then I realized she was opening my eyes and teaching me to the life I know I deserve and can have right now. I always loved Courtney's stories. I looked forward to them every week. I will remember them and do the same as she did in her honor. I will say yes to myself more now because that is what Courtney taught me. Courtney is a phenomenal therapist. After every session, I felt freer, and that I knew what I needed to do in order to rest or what to act on for the next week. I started working with Courtney when my therapist during the quarantine had moved to another platform, I was preparing for my move from west coast to east coast, and had a lot of challenges with my job and with my family. Through all of those adjustments and transitions, Courtney made sure I prioritized myself first. Something I have rarely done all my life and am now finally enjoying doing. I am so grateful for Courtney. She always made me feel safe in every sense of the word. She literally even reminded me to lock my windows at night and eat before going out with friends to save money! She always wants to make sure I'm physically, financially, and emotionally safe and I appreciate her wholeheartedly for that. I love Courtney so much and wish her nothing but all the success, happiness, and peace in her life. She deserves it. She has helped me see how much I deserve it too. Thank you BetterHelp for matching me with Courtney, and providing me the services to meet with her regularly. I am a much happier, healthier, better person because of it. THANK YOU!!!!

I’ve only been working with Courtney for a couple weeks but it has been easy to speak to her and get my point across. She has provided me with great exercises and feedback to help me deal with what I am going though. Thankful for her.

Courtney was INCREDIBLY helpful and gave me a lot of hope when I went to her seeking support and Cognitive Behavior Therapy for my body-focused repetitive behavior that I had let previously go unadressed in a therapy setting for nearly 15 years. Courtney provided me with specific tools and tangible suggestions for dealing with my issue and helped me slowly release the shame I felt about my issue. I am excited to start a new less shameful and more assertive phase in my life thanks to her help. Would definitely recommend her to anyone looking to focus on something particular like that.
