About Me

I am a licensed clinical social worker (CSW.09924164 Colorado) with experience in mental health treatment, parenting skills, and couples counseling. I received both my bachelors and masters degrees in Social work from Colorado State University. I have a passion for collaborating with my clients to help them achieve their goals. For more than a year, Courtney was (and will forever be) an integral part of my healing journey from depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, disordered eating and chronic illness. I can't encapsulate all that we have come through together but I have no doubt that she helped plant a seed for me to nurture and grow on my healing path that I will take with me for the rest of my life. Our work together was a solid beacon of hope in a long and bumpy path towards physical and mental wellness. Having a platform like this at Better Help made therapy accessible to me and with her assistance and devotion, I reached beyond my anxiety and I was able to receive the help I so desperately needed to move forward, one step at a time. Her kindness, care, concern and dedication to her clients is exemplary. I always felt like I was heard, never judged and free to be myself in a safe space. When it's hard to talk about some of these concerns (to even come to the first session) it is so important to have someone who can give you those things and can anticipate your needs when you're struggling to feel clarity and find direction. Courtney understood, listened closely and found many ways to connect with and reach out to me. She taught me that I could learn to trust again - this is so important in a therapy relationship and integral in healing from trauma. So many people want to help and I know I can trust in that now and I will carry that belief with me as I continue on this path. Surrender to the process. The only way to the other side, is through and Courtney can help you find your way, one step at a time.

I most definitely recommend her and thank you, Courtney...for everything...my cup overflows with gratitude.

Courtney is very courteous, friendly, professional and easy to talk to! She checks in regularly and I don't feel overlooked, even when I'm not putting in as much effort as I should. Courtney keeps the sessions and chats focused and provides valuable insight and specific resources for me to keep working toward my goals.

Courtney is great because she doesn't judge. I feel like I can tell her exactly what is going on because she is neutral. She points out a lot of things that I don't see. Speaking to her makes me accountable. I needed that. I didn't feel like I had someone who would not judge me for my behavior. But at the same time, Courtney nudges me in the right direction by giving me small tasks between sessions. These tasks help me explore myself.

So far so good. I signed up for BetterHelp in desperation of getting some issues/feelings out. It feels good to word vomit and have a real human read it and give a reflective, calm response and help me set some goals to overcome some issues. I'm not sure at what rate I'm accomplishing anything, but it feels good to communicate with Courtney and process my thoughts as typed words. I re-read our conversations later on and realize/mentally organize some things, which helps me.

Courtney has been of excellent help. In the last year, a bunch of my unresolved issues got out of control, and I went through different treatment and support. When I began to work with Courtney, she instantly understood what I was going through. She guided me to dismantle my distorted beliefs and behaviors step by step, always without being judgmental, giving me the motivation to take actions. Her sympathetic attitude and positive approach made me feel comfortable to do things that I avoided or left unchanged for a long time. I can move forward now thanks to her.

I have been corresponding with Mrs. Tran for a few weeks now. So far so good. If I don't have time to send her a message for a few days she messages me to check in. I think that is great. Shows she cares and wants to help. I look forward to continuing the sessions and getting some help understanding my feelings and fears. I find this to be the most convenient way for me to get help in dealing with my past. I can message whenever I want and always get a professional and well thought out response. I feel I was well matched with a therapist who has dealt a lot with the issues I have. I am on the road to recovery and rediscovering myself and my strength. The things I have thought were such huge road blocks she has already helped me to see are not road blocks at all, just memories that I held on to that really don't matter anymore. My future is more important than anything and with her help I will overcome to past hurt and be the strongest person I can be. Just reading and rereading her words resonated something in me that just made sense. Thank you to Courtney Tran!!!!!!!!! ;)
A Very Grateful Client

Courtney is awesome. She is compassionate and relatable and practical. Helpful - all the "fuls". Courtney helped me get my head on when I was really really stressed and down and reminded me that not only can't I fix everything - but it's just not a good idea to fix everything. That I need to live my life and do things I want to do to help people around me live theirs. Thanks Courtney.
