About me

Hello and welcome! I'm Courtney Vastine, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) therapist practicing in Texas. With over 10 years experience providing psychotherapy, it is my passion to help others achieve their goals in life and find more peace of mind. My clinical therapy specialties: anxiety, stress, PTSD, panic attacks, trauma, grief/loss, coping with chronic illness/pain, coping with a cancer diagnosis, career issues, relationship concerns, life changes, divorce/co-parenting issues, and many more concerns. It is my hope to help clients better cope with various life changes and difficult emotions.

My approach is client-centered and tailored to your individual needs and goals. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), Person-centered approach, Positive Psychology, Motivational Interviewing, and other therapies. All interventions used are evidence-based and straight-forward to incorporate into your every day life. After clients have worked with me, they often report feeling less stressed and having better coping skills.

Difficult times and unexpected changes can happen to any of us in life. It is my hope to help you find more peace. It can be tough even to simply ask for help, so I understand and am here to assist you. Exploring the healing process requires establishing a trusting and an emotionally supportive relationship. Positive change can happen, let's get started working toward it together.

Reviews

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Courtney Vastine. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.

After failing to connect with my first therapist, I got partnered with Courtney who guided me for months through troubled sleep, anxiety, self-gessing, regret, and work issues. Being in an important job means people assume you have it all figured out. I knew I didn't, and with Courtney's guidance and support, I started making more confident decisions that focused on my mental health. She's the best supporter, remembers everything, and is always there to offer encouragement. The best therapist I could have hoped for!!

Vastine is doing a great job. I’ve tried 2 or 3 counselors before her.
