I am a licensed clinical social work with over 10 years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, families, and couples with a wide range of mental health related issues. I have been through life experiences myself that I feel help me relate well to my clients needs.
I work from a humanistic and cognitive behavioral approach and I am warm and sensitive to the needs of my clients and treat everyone as the most important client I have. I have been quite successful over the years in helping my clients meet their therapeutic goals and live a better life after their treatment with me is finished.
I understand it can be difficult to seek help initially but I also know how rewarding and beneficial it can be once the process begins and you see the changes in your life taking place
I am here and ready to help you take that step forward

I am satisfied with the ease and convenience of this site. Craig Halpern is simple to communicate, he keeps things focused and is responsive to my needs. He provides clarity and support with issues that are stressful and overwhelming to me. He is a professional that helps in simple, direct and kind ways.
I found Craig attentive and generally sensitive to my issues. I would recommend him.
Mr. Halpern is amazing. He has a very calm and intelligent way of getting me to think of things from different perspective, or in a different pattern that I never considered before. He's super nice and is brilliant, and I would HIGHLY recommend him!
Craig is always there when I need help, when I feel like there’s no one I can talk to. His advice is always sound and I always feel like he wants the best for me. Couldn’t ask for better help (see what I did there).
Craig is analytical, attentive, and approachable. He responds quickly and works around my busy schedule.
I really appreciate Craig being so non-judgemental, understanding, and empathetic. He always replies in a timely fashion and checks back on me. He asks open-ended questions to help me explore my thinking and provides helpful advice. It is very reassuring to know that I can have someone like Craig to talk to when I need support.
Craig gave me strategies to help me out and I appreciate his help.
Craig has helped a lot. He is to the point and a great listener. He always checks back and has been very helpful.
Always gives sound advice in a timely manner
Craig is a good collaborative problem solver and is good at making you quickly feel very comfortable talking to him.
Craig always checks in on me if he hasn't heard from me in a few days. It's so nice to know that I have someone safe to talk to.
I haven't gone to therapy before and didn't know what to expect. Craig makes you feel like there is always someone to reach out to. He gets back to you and encourages you. I appreciate the feedback on my reactions to decisions.
I really was a bit skeptical to sign up with "online" counseling. However, it seems to work great with the ability to schedule around my busy life of kids and work. That was part of the problem with attending counseling before was the drive there and back to a counselor's office and then an hour appt.,.... so it ended up taking up 3 hrs a day. Now I'm able to drop kids off to school and from the comfort of my home have a counseling session even as early as 7:30 a.m. Also, I was able to request a male counselor which I thought was helpful to give better insight into understahding my husband. I really like my counselor and thrilled with the entire process. I would recommend this to anyone that seems to have a busy schedule but, really would benefit from regular counseling sessions. Craig has already helped and has wonderful recommendations.
Very understanding when trying to explain things over chat. Always flexible when you want to chat and has already helped me in a short period of time. Highly highly highly recommend.
