I am a National Certified Counselor and a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Oklahoma. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Family Studies and Gerontology, and a Master of Arts degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. I have extensive experience counseling individuals aged 6 to 60 offering various models of therapy to provide new methods for solving old problems.
I enjoy person-centered, solution-focused therapy, and use motivational models that will keep us on track toward change. I am certified in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy and have worked with clients who suffered abuse and PTSD. Hundreds of clients reported relief from intrusive, re-traumatizing memories after a few minutes of Field Thought Therapy. During the past ten years of counseling, I have watched individuals report improved moods in a short period time from disorders such as depression, anxiety, personality disorders, grief and ADHD.
When needed, I will share with you evidence-based skills that have proven to help others succeed in their goals. But most of all, I look forward to our portals of time to connect, to hear your life stories, and to strategize with you the steps of change that will take you where you want to go. We will explore your options, examine potential outcomes, and practice new pro-active ways to assert yourself in the safety of a counseling session.
