About Me

Peace of mind is a valuable resource, and remaining calm in the chaos of change is difficult, but not impossible. As your therapist, it is my pleasure to assist you in tracking tangible action plans to achieve the goals you set for your emotional, relational, physical, and spiritual well-being. We will collaborate to design your unique plan to achieve the changes you want in life.

I am a National Certified Counselor and a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Oklahoma. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Family Studies and Gerontology, and a Master of Arts degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. I have extensive experience counseling individuals aged 6 to 60 offering various models of therapy to provide new methods for solving old problems.

I enjoy person-centered, solution-focused therapy, and use motivational models that will keep us on track toward change. I am certified in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy and have worked with clients who suffered abuse and PTSD. Hundreds of clients reported relief from intrusive, re-traumatizing memories after a few minutes of Field Thought Therapy. During the past ten years of counseling, I have watched individuals report improved moods in a short period time from disorders such as depression, anxiety, personality disorders, grief and ADHD.

When needed, I will share with you evidence-based skills that have proven to help others succeed in their goals. But most of all, I look forward to our portals of time to connect, to hear your life stories, and to strategize with you the steps of change that will take you where you want to go. We will explore your options, examine potential outcomes, and practice new pro-active ways to assert yourself in the safety of a counseling session.

Destiny is a place your decisions take you. Making a plan is an important step to discover your potential, develop relationships, and design the destiny you want to reach. Let's schedule time to fully examine your options that will lead to your best life. As your secret keeper, I will explore with you healthy ways to empower change. We begin with setting a time to meet weekly until you recognize better feelings. As you progress toward your goal, we can put more time between visits. Pacing sessions is up to you. I look forward to hearing you say that you are enjoying a happier, healthier life.

Written by C.A. on Dec 23, 2020 after counseling with Cristine for 2 months on issues concerning depression, stress, anxiety, addictions, family conflicts, grief, and sleeping disorders

Cristine is absolutely wonderful! She truly cares and listens to you. She has helped me immensely! She's so easy to talk to, and I felt I could tell her anything. It was great being able to have my visits with her in the comfort of my own home.
