I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Southeastern Oklahoma State University. I went on to obtain my Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Southeastern Oklahoma State University, a CACREP accredited university. I have worked in the mental health field for 9 years. I work in a community mental health clinic with clients of varying ages from children and adolescents to adults and the elderly. My treatment approach is person centered at it's foundation. I believe the therapeutic relationship is a very powerful catalyst for change. I also draw from cognitive behavioral therapy when working with clients. I believe in adjusting my counseling style as necessary to best meet the client's needs.

I think that Crystal has done a great job sifting through many different topics with me. She asks questions that get me to think about my thought processes. I like that she wants to help me develop tools! She’s very caring and feels like a real friend!
