Crystal Gilster, LPC
About me
Unfortunately, there are seasons of life that are extremely difficult. During those times talking to a professional counselor can make a world of difference. My transparent, non-judgmental, easy-going personality will make it easy to share your thoughts with me. My clients have said they know I genuinely care about them, because I do. My life experience (married 20+ yrs. w/5 children) helps me relate to the everyday struggles of life. My training in Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Client-Centered approach, and several other theories will guide our work together. My nature is to encourage and empower you to use new coping strategies that will help you reach your goals.
Areas of expertise include: anxiety, depression, challenges in relationships, etc. I respect all beliefs and cultures.
People have negative and positive experiences with religion. For this reason, if you'd prefer to incorporate a Christ-centered approach to counseling let me know.
I look forward to working with you!
