Hi there and welcome, I'm so glad you're here. Stepping into therapy can be an overwhelming process but finding the right fit for you is one of the most important aspects of making it work. My hope in our work together is that you feel heard, valued and supported in whatever you are facing. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who has been working with youth, young adults, families and adults for the last 8 years primarily in community-based settings. My primary focus has been on anxiety, life transitions, depression, PTSD, relationship issues, self-image, and the challenges that come with transitioning into adulthood.
My approach in treatment is to start wherever you're at. I am a learner and you are the expert of your life. I utilize a client-centered approach to have you guide our work together and adjust my treatment based on your needs and personality. My counseling style centers on listening to you, supporting you in finding your voice and exploring ways for you to thrive in your life. This includes using treatment modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy and mindfulness practice.
I am looking forward to learning more about your story and walking alongside you wherever you may be at. I am here to be a non-judgmental presence for you to express yourself, your needs and to find a way through.
