About me

I have had the honor of working with people from all walks of life, providing support to those affected by stress, trauma, and mental health symptoms for over a decade. I believe in creating a safe and welcoming space to process thoughts and feelings and identify your needs. Your services will be based on a professional relationship characterized by trust and respect while collaborating on your personally tailored treatment goals. I vow to meet you where you are and move along at your pace. I acknowledge the courage and motivation it takes to seek support and work on a more fulfilling and happier life.

Hope, safety, and healthy relationships (first with oneself and then with others), lead to healing and mental wellness. The process is attained through connection, reflection, and foundation. The primary goal is to help you identify and cope more effectively with problems in daily living and to deal with internal conflicts to achieve more satisfying personal and interpersonal relationships. This purpose is accomplished by 1. Establishing healthy rapport, connection, and attachment in a nurturing and safe environment. 2. Increasing personal awareness of obstacles and strengths. 3. Taking personal responsibility to make the changes necessary to attain your goals. 4. Identifying specific psychotherapy goals. 5. Utilizing all available community, medical, and self-help resources.

Psychotherapy involves a large commitment of time, money, and energy, so you should be mindful about the services you select. For psychotherapy to be most successful, you will be encouraged to actively work on things talked about, both during sessions and at home. If you have questions or concerns, please feel free to address them as they arise. You will be so glad that you invested in yourself during this time of therapy.
