What Makes Me Different?
I will engage with you not only during our weekly session but we will be able to connect and communicate daily if wanted. I do weekly check-in's to see how you are doing throughout the week and to ensure you are working on your goals. I will also reply to your messages within 24hrs or sooner. If you choose to work with me I would try my best to ensure you are seen within the same week you have signed up with me, if you are not seeing a good day and time please message me so we can set you up on the scheduler for this week.

My counseling philosophy is that, you are the expert in your own life. You being the expert means, that we will work together to come up with the best skills for you to move from the place you are to the place you want to be. We work together to help you learn skills to navigate from your current situation, to a new place in your life. My role is to guide and support you in learning and implementing the skills and confidence needed to help you improve your overall life. Together, working as a team, We can come up with the best skills to ensure success. I am down to earth, and I make myself available, so that I can provide a listening ear, relevant feedback and support when needed. I look forward to meeting you and working together to ensure success.
My therapeutic style involves helping you to arrive at insight, strategies, and tools that you can begin using immediately to make positive change in your life. We don’t just sit and talk. I love to provide you with concrete tools wherever possible and help you to have a plan for the following days before our next session, if that is the pace you would like to move at. Some of my Favored therapeutic modalities are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness and Positive Psychology, Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Structural Family Therapy (SFT), and Family System Therapy (FST). These are just a few of the tools and skills I use to help you obtain your goals. Most importantly, we are going to make sure we are making progress on goals that you have for yourself. I will be there to guide you, encourage you, possibly even challenge you if I feel you are unknowingly allowing obstacles to stand in your way.
