About Me

Twenty years-experience as a counselor who provides a safe, caring and nonjudgmental environment for men and women from diverse cultures going through anxiety, depression or trauma.

All our experiences shape who we become. It determines our thoughts, beliefs and behaviors. We may make decisions based on needs, of which we may or may not even be aware. You may find yourself stuck in patterns that don’t make sense or in relationships that are challenging or confusing. You may have a vague sense of discomfort or a strong feeling of unhappiness.

I use a combination of Cognitive-Behavioral, Solution-focused and Trauma-Informed therapy to improve and create a better understanding of and resolution to these challenges. As a Certified Life Coach, I bring skills of supporting people through difficult changes where they previously tended to get stuck. I also enjoy helping people find significance and a more meaningful life as they move through difficult or chaotic life transitions such a divorce, illness, death of a loved one, the end of a career and many other kinds of changes.

We will work together to determine your goals and find ways to improve your sense of wellbeing and confidence. Online therapy provides a confidential, convenient and supportive path to an improved quality of life.

I have only had two sessions with Cyndi so far, yet we seem to have an immediate rapport. Even over the phone, I can sense her listening intently and empathetically. This is supported by the nature of her responses, which are always insightful and unfailingly honest.

After working with Cyndi over the past several months, we’ve developed a supportive relationship in which the key areas where I’m looking to grow are effectively addressed with her expertise. Cyndi’s one of the best listeners I’ve had in my life and after carefully understanding the context of various situations provides feedback and guidance that have been so helpful for me. I didn’t expect to develop such a strong bond in a short period of time especially over calls (vs. in person) but Cyndi’s makes me feel very comfortable and safe. I’m beyond grateful to have finally found help from an expert who truly gets me. As Cyndi and I continue to work together, I’m feel positive about improving key areas of my life with her expertise.
