I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, practicing in the state of Illinois. I started my career as an LMFT in Texas, graduating from Texas Woman's University, in Denton, Texas in 2006. Since moving to Illinois, I have worked in private practice with individuals who struggle with Anxiety & Stress Coping, and Relationship Issues. My current practice focuses entirely on adults over the age of 18. I primarily use techniques and strategies from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for working with individuals. I look forward to having a working partnership with you, to address the things that are most important to you.

I've been seeing Cynthia since October of 21. My experience with her has been really positive and she's been very helpful to me in getting through my current struggles. I have and will continue to recommend Better Help and my therapist in particular, as I feel she's very responsive to my questions, provides me with a lot of exercises that I really like and she seems to genuinely understand me, what I'm trying to accomplish and helping me reach my goals. Overall, I am very happy with my therapist!

She really understands what my goal is even though I have not explicitly told her what it is. She makes an effort to understand my issues and helps me through them. It is also nice to just have someone to rant to without the judgment from other people.

Cyndi has been a huge help in my journey of navigating difficult family situations. She has helped me gain confidence and has been someone I can trust when I need advice in certain situations. Cynthia has been a tremendous help since day one. This is my first time in therapy so the fact I felt comfortable for our first video session should say a lot. Cynthia asks really great questions that get you thinking while also supporting you.
