About me

Welcome! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with 16 years of experience working in the mental health field. I have worked in an outpatient setting, as well as a residential treatment facility. I have a broad range of experience working with individuals with stress/anxiety, relationship issues, depression, eating disorders, negative body image, and low self-worth. I have walked the path with many individuals, facing various challenges, all who come from a variety of backgrounds.

I would describe my approach as empathetic, client centered, and goal oriented. I use several different treatment modalities including CBT, Person-Centered, Solution-Focused, Mindfulness, DBT, and ACT.

My clients will experience a level of caring and compassion that opens the door to their healing and progress. Together, you and I will find the answers to your current problems, and build a relationship solely dedicated to your well-being.

D’Ann is a great counselor. I’ve always had trouble matching with a counselor and it feels like she was hand picked for me. She is empathic and imparts great advice and guidance. I would recommend her to anyone struggling right now, she is a great reprieve from the weight of mental illness. With her, it feels like I dont have to do it alone.
