My expertise includes treating and coaching individuals and families with emotional and mental health dysfunction due to substance abuse, chemical dependency and related co-dependency issues. I am skillful in motivating clients to change, redirect, and focus their energies to accomplish their life's goals. Individuals who feel they are "stuck", unmotivated, or repeating non productive behaviors, or just need a "kick in the butt" to make the changes necessary to achieve their desired goals, should contact me to coach them through the process of achieving success.
My female clients have had excellent outcomes with my use of Motivational Empowerment Coaching Techniques, developed from my Martial Arts/Counseling background. I have worked with women dealing with emotional trauma from their childhood and/or adolescence, as well as in their adult lives. Some of the examples of the issues faced by today's women are separation, divorce, traumatic exclusion, and equality. I am skillful in empowering clients, helping them to heal and thereby develop the self esteem and self efficacy needed to live more productive and successful lives.

Dr. Minor has been incredibly helpful to me when it has come to making certain life decisions and getting myself "back on track". He is kind and insightful and all of his tips have been meaningful and helpful. I've done the counseling thing before and I was never very impressed, but while talking with Doc it felt like he not only completely understood my situation, but he was also very quick to ease my mind and help me focus on what is important in my life and he did this through "science" or certain equations instead of personal opinion (which to me, means more). If you are looking for someone to listen and guide you in certain life choices, he is your man!
On a side note, I'd like to thank doctor Minor for all he has done for me. I've never felt better and I wouldn't want to work with any other man. Thanks for all your help, you're great!
