About Me

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Certified Life Coach who specializes in helping you overcome emotional and mental pain and to bring you out of the darkness into the light of hope, peace, and purpose. I have over 10 years experience in working with anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, anger, OCD, disappointment, burnout, being stuck, out of balance, and being out of sync with yourself and others in your life. The therapy approaches I use are CBT, Solution-focused, motivational interviewing, life-coaching approach but each person is unique and I tailor my approach to what you need. I have experience with men, women, and couples.

I also specialize in helping men find their identity, their purpose, and to grow into who they were meant to be by addressing the roadblocks that are holding them you back; mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual.

I'm curious about you! I'm curious about your life, what you do, what you need, what you want, who you are, who you really are, your natural or developed strengths, your empowering and limiting beliefs, your values, your purpose, your helpful and harmful habits, your motivations, and especially your destination in life. I'm curious about who you are when you are authentic and what that means going forward for you. I have both the education and the life experience to back it up. I have learned people are unique and special in their own way. My clients say I am “gentle, accepting, non-judgmental, attentive, challenging,” and I have the upmost respect for those who have the courage to ask for help.

Dan's incredibly insightful. He's warm and caring, never judgmental. He has been an incredible comfort in a difficult time. This was my first time ever with a counselor and I was scared at first, but Dan put me at ease right away. I look forward to our weekly talks and always come out feeling fantastic.

I feel supported by my therapist and that BetterHelp did well pairing me with Dan based on his expertise and what's happening in my life.

Dan really listens and breaks down the problem. He helps me realize the overall situation rather than pinpointing one issue and blowing it out of proportion. He has truly helped me see I can have hope and overcome my hurdles.
