About me

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor as well as a Board Approved Qualified Supervisor for Mental Health Interns and Marriage and Family Interns in the State of Florida. I have over 10 plus years experience that consists of working in a variety of different settings such as public schools, alternative schools, residential treatment programs for teenagers, substance abuse residential treatment centers, prisons, nursing homes, and more. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, OCD, Bipolar, Grief/Lose, substance abuse, Mood Disorder, Couples Counseling, ADHD, and more.
My mission is to provide safe keeping and guidance that helps clients, self-consciously improve their happiness, relationships, and life success. To help identify and maneuver through life’s obstacles and challenges by changing one’s perception of their current circumstance. To help increase positive thinking by becoming aware and understanding of the known and unknown and realizing its purpose whether good or bad is to be endured, expected and encouraged. To acknowledge their existing strengths, as we all have strengths, and enhance these already preexisting strengths with also the desire and will to gain more. Learning to live one day at a time and facing life’s challenges with a sense of calmness and perception of expectancy can help one find and increase their inner peace while daily enhancing their quality of life and flourishing into the BEST version of themselves.

Congratulations for you have already started your first step. I am excited to start working with you and hope to hear from you soon.

Dana has been a real lifesaver for me and I enjoy every single one of our sessions. She's empathetic, warm, understanding, and knows how to work with me to get to the core issue. I can recommend her x10000000!

I think Dana could do with some colleagues so she can truly focus on the clients she has, however she is fantastic when I am speaking to her

This outstanding couselor creates a safe environment for you to speak your mind and express your emotions. Her questioning technique helps you understand your inner thoughts more. I highly recommend other people to start sessions with her, she changed my life.

In the first, short session that we had, Dana made me feel confortable which helped me be more open and express myself better. She gave me questions I should ask myself that keep me motivated and confident in who I am. With just half-an-hour she understood who I was and what were my concerns.

Dana is great but the system is flawed. It promises 4 live sessions in 1 month but it allows my therapist to be booked for more than two weeks at a time and only lets me schedule 1 session at a time.
