My name is Danny Caldwell, I am a Clinical Mental Health Counselor, licensed in Utah. I have been practicing as a therapist since 2011 but have worked in the mental health field since 2004. I have worked in a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings and have worked with a variety of populations. I have experience with addressing anxiety depression, trauma, ADHD, OCD, and parenting problems, I also have worked extensively with individuals working through faith crises, faith conflicts and faith transitions. I have also worked substantially with the LGBTQ community mainly in helping individual dealing with faith and sexuality conflicts, family and cultural conflicts and the coming out process. I have also worked with the families of these individuals.
My counseling style is very warm and person centered. I use a mixture of cognitive behavior therapy, solution focused therapy, and emotional and trauma approaches including EMDR. I try to get to know my clients and tailor my approach to fit the unique needs of each individual.
Asking for help is never easy, so I try to make that process as smooth as possible, so you can start orienting your life in a direction that feels congruent to who you are as an individual.

I have been to therapy multiple times with different counselors. After only 3 sessions, Daniel has been an absolute lifesaver!! He does an excellent job at communicating different strategies, is very supportive and most importantly, very relatable & down-to-earth. I have learned such valuable skills for my life so far with him, and I look forward to learning more!
I am very grateful for the help I have been receiving. I’m excited to continue on in this therapy experience because I feel as if it will actually help me take steps in changing my life, and Daniel has really been there to listen to me, and help me calm my fears and anxieties. I really appreciate how he hopped right into things and was ready to help me and I’m excited for future talks!
Really helped pull me out of a very low stagnant hopelessness to a place where I could move towards my goals and successfully improve myself. He's very nice and comfortable to talk to, I looked forward to every meeting.
Daniel is an excellent listener and seems to really care about his patients
